On 12th January 2021 we woke to a perfectly bright, crisp, winter’s day in Glasgow, and at 1548 we were blessed with the safe arrival of our beautiful boy, Finlay Eric Macleod. From that moment, we experienced a new kind of love – it was all-consuming and beyond all measure.
Our little balach loved being out and about in his pram, popping into town with mum and meandering home, discovering new people and seeing new places. At weekends, he would go for more adventurous trips with dad round the Castle Grounds. He loved to bask in the Goathill sunshine for his morning nap, and to spend hours in his activity gym singing along to his flashing elephant while trying to kick the rattling monkey that dangled tantalisingly above his sweet head.
Finlay Eric gave us 20 weeks of complete joy - they were all too short and ended too quickly, we are completely heartbroken to have had to say goodbye to our darling son.
We will miss you Pup, more than words can ever say.
Love you always.
